ectopic beats after playing basketball

Hi, I played some basketball with family yesterday and really got a good work out from doing it, now i have always played sports in my life but not for about 1 year and a little, well the last time i played it didn't feel a thing after playing, but after playing yesterday (not durring) i started to feel the stupid abnormal thumps when i sat down very out of breath as well. My first question, would this mean i have heart disease at only 29 years old, or something dangerous?

Also why would i feel it after exercise but not durring it?

Should i not exercise anymore?

thanks and happy holidays

I do not know your history so your doctor is really the best person to ask but mine recommend to be as active as I can.  It is likely the change in breathing that is causing the beats after you exercise.  I get a few when I start my cardio and a few when I stop.  Unless you get them in a row and you can't stop them then there really is nothing to worry about and the more cardio you can get in the better you will be able to tolerate your heart issues.  I can attest to that from my own experience.   But from what I know so long as you have been deemed to have a structurally normal heart then the abnormal beats do not indicate heart disease. So consult your doctor just to be sure but I would bet they would advise you to continue with your exercising.
