Jerry...Thanks. Any knowledge about cardioversion in regard to drinking or about side effects?
I have an occasional beer an/or glass of wine and I have been on warfarin for over 10 years. I have not had any problems, but that isn't to say you would not.
On the levitra subject I do not have any experience. Assuming the doctor that said "yes" is the one who did/would write the prescription. You could get a third opinion from a pharmacist.
You might know something. My one doc said no and the other said yes. Also, can one drink on warfarin...one or two or after cardioversion, can one have a drink? They say no now but they always do. If you had an itch, they would say no to drinking and smoking.
My guess, you can take it. This is a question you should ask your doctor, you may have some specifics that would say you should not (can not) take it.
