electric felings

get heart papultations. especially when lying down at night trying to sleep. feels fast sometimes and bopundind  feelit in back of head ears also,  get weird feelings in side sometimes arms pulsing feelings, sometimes  some pain in center of chest. could this be something wrong with electric feeling in body, is there medicine for this? If you are lying on your left side while in bed, you may be more aware of your hearts activity. The reason for this is that when you're on the left side your heart is closer to your chest wall. Try sleeping on your right side to see if this helps.

I cannot say for sure what you have going on. If in fact you are experiencing chest pain this needs to be evaluated. It might be a good idea to make an appt. with your Dr to have some testing done.

i know i get this a lot that electric feeling and i have svt and have just put the 2 together ,,i also cannot sleep on my left side allthough i always seem to wake up that way ,,
if you are concered and im guess u are like brooke said u can get certain tests to check what your heart is doing while u are alsleep or trying to nod off ,like a holter monitor just to see if this is rhythm connected .
sometimes inbalance's in the body can cause these feelings also so maybe a visit to the doc is in order just to put things at ease ,,cause sleep is so important for you and for your body as a unit

Wake-sleep transition for some reason can be a common time to get arrythmias and tachycardia. It's the worst time for me. I only have svt, nothing serious, so it's certainly possible that it's nothing for you to worry about. However, like the others, I strongly urge you to get it checked out.

thanks went to a cardiolgist yesterday.  got a whole bunch of test scheduled for this month.   thanks kevin
