Hi. I have been experiencing pacs and pvcs for years. I feel nearly every single one of them. I apparently have a structurally normalNormal saline flush heart and have never taken meds. Today after eating my heart started beating in an erratic way...it wasn't a pac or pvc. This only lasted for about 10 seconds. I felt slightly dizzy after but don't know if it was just anxiety. 1.Is this erratic heart beat safeSafe driving for teens Safe sex in a person with a srtructurally normalNormal saline flush heart? 2.Has anyone died from pvcs or pacs because they have deteriorated into a more serious arrhythmia in a person with a structurally normalNormal saline flush heart?
When was the last time you saw your doctor? You said you have a structurally normalNormal saline flush heart, but how long ago was that determined?
In addition to PVC's, I have atrialAtrial fibrillation/flutter Atrial myxoma Left atrial myxoma Right atrial myxoma fibrillation from time to time. It's a very erratic heartbeat. Mine can last for seconds, minutes or as long as 12 hours. I always go back to a normal sinus rhythm on my own. I have been taking Amiodarone since July to help prevent it from happening again.
If it's been a while since your last check up, I'd go again and explain what you felt, just to be thorough.
Thanks Mike!
I have had my heart checked a number of times in the past, the last time was about 2 and a half years ago. They always make me feel like a hypochondriac so i am fearful of returning. I have had these erratic heart beats in the past, but not for years. unfortunately, they have never been able to detect it on a monitor. As i do not know much about arrhythmias i am assuming that atrial fibrillation is dangerous as you are taking preventative medication. Is this till the case in the setting of a structurally normal heart? Sorry to harp on about the SNH thing, but it's just what the Doctors keeps reiterating .
From what I have read PACs can turn into AFib and PVCs VTach. It is rare in structurally normal hearts from what I understand. But I am sure it is not impossible. I would call the doctors office anyway and report to them your feeling the earratic heartbeat. Better safe than sorry.
Hi again! You asked me in your first post how long ago was it determined that my heart was structurally normal? My question to you is... is it possible for the structure to change? I always assumed that if your heart was structurally normal then it would be forever because it is actually how your heart is formed.
