fast pulse after eating

hello and i was wondering if anyone could help me to figure out why my heat beat is over 100 after i eat . Its been over 3 hours and its still high and so is my blood pressure.Lisa

This is a common thing. I also get this particularly if I have had a drop of wine too. Probably nothing to worry about.

Is this new, or has you heart rate always increased after eating?

If mine increases, I am not aware of it, and I do watch my HR because I am on medications to help keep me below 100 at rest.

As the first to respond says, it may be normal for you. I have read other posts by people who experience the same effect.
