hart problems

Hello
I was admitted to the hospital after having pvc. on an ekg they did an ultra sound and a treadmill test and said it was anxiety attack or hart burn I knew it wasn't and went to see my doctor. I was put on a 48 hr. hart holter  because I've been having hart symptoms. shortness of breath, dizziness, chest pain. (like when you have over worked a muscle and it burns or you have pulled it. they found in 40 hrs. I had 1062 isolated premature ventricular ectopic beats. there were 2 episodes of sustained supraventricular arrhythmias. the longest run was 7 bpm, max rate 148 bpm. and there were 19 isolated premature supraventricular ectopic beats and 1 supraventricular couplets. the doctor says this isn't life threatening and put me on beta blockers but I had a reaction of feeling sick and like motion sickness so he took me off. should I be concerned I turn 50 this year I hate always feeling this way.

The amount of ectopic activity you are having is not alarming to the doctors.  It can make you feel pretty bad but you are not in danger health wise.  Stress, anxiety and stomach issues are a big trigger for the ectopic beats.  They are usually the cause if it is not due to heart damage/scar tissue from heart attacks or blocks.  If you have had an echo done and your heart is structurally normal then you likely just need to find your triggers and try to minimize them to alleviate some of the activity.  Try to stay away from caffeine, carbs and spicy foods and see if that helps.  Also try to get some exercise in.  It may not get rid of the extra beats but could very well help you to feel better despite them.  Well I do hope you can get to the bottom of the triggers and feel better soon.  Take care and keep us posted on how you are doing.

You're 1062 PVE and I was 120. You're 2 episodes of sustained PVE, and I was 4, You're longest run was 7 and I was 4 bpm. Your max heart-rate was 148 and I was 115 bpm. Have you had SVT episodes in the past where you had to bear down, hold your breath, or use facial ice packs to stop them? Consider lifestyle change and daily 1/2 hour sustained exercise either cycling, swimming, or power-walking. Do not run as the pounding disrupts your heart's electrical pulses. I had 20 SVT episodes in 2013, but now I'm swimming daily and no SVT.
