has anyone taken or know about Florinef

Hi I have IST and I talked to Clevland heart clinic earlier I have problems with my IST for the 2 weeks before my period and Dr. Fooes (sp?) said that she uses Florinef to treat thins not hormones!!!! does anyone take this or have taken this and does it help and what are the side effects? any info on this drug form people who have taken it would be greatly apprecaited! thank you!

Interesting. I'll have to look into this. I have MAJOR issues before and during my period. I also have IST if you don't remember me :)

Hey sugarpea013 yeah I think we are 2 of 4 people that have IST.....I have a stress test monday and am going to ask to try this!!!! I have nonstop palps the two weeks before my period and she says this is how she treats that and it works for her patients with IST and POTS so its worth a try she also says she doesnt use channel blockers she only uses beta blockers and very rarley does abaltions! she said that IST and even POTS is very treatable when you get the right medication!!!!! I am so headed there to see her after christmas! she has been doing this for over 30 years! she said you take a very low low dose of Florinef the first two weeks and increase it two weeks before your period start and this fixes the problem....sounds good to me!
