healthy heart, racing

hello,
Im a 24 year old female from australia.
I recently just came back from Germany on Thursday 20th october 2011, and as of saturday 22/10/2011 i started having a racing heart and got sweaty hands, then started paniking. So, my mum took me to the emergency ward of the hospital to get checked out. They did blood pressure , blood test for DVT and an EKG. blood test came back negitive and they said my heart sounded healthy after monitoring it for 2/3hours.

On Monday i went to the doctors and my heart rate was 120bpm. blood pressure was fine. The doctor send me to get an xray of my chest and ultra sound of my legs to rule out DVT and all results were fine and healthy.

On monday night I felt like my heart was trying to pump out of my chest and was beating fast, with a stitch like sensation on the left side of my chest, so i called an ambulance. When they arrived they checked my blood pressure a few times throughout their visit and kept an eye on my heartbeat. They said my heart seemed healthy, and maybe its a muscular thing causing this.

Ive had blood tests today but i am waiting back for the results.
im getting tested for a full blood count, cholesterol,liver,thyroid and a few ther things i cant remember,
Im getting scared... :(
do you have any suggestions as to what i might have?

Its good that your EKG,Bloodtest and cxray are clear.I think you should ask your GP to refer you to see a cardiologist where they can performed other test,24hr holter monitoring and Echo to ensure you have a normal structure heart.you sound like having some high anxiety levels,but then please make sure u have a full cardiac workup before assuming that.
