my bp varies, 104/56-140-55 resting. meds: warfrin, metrophal, rythmal, crestor. I nolonger have afib although sometimes my heart feels like its working extra hard. what
could this mean? i take my bp at this time and ifs fine.....thanks
Do you measure your blood pressure as well? Everyone's body is different, but I know for myself, if my pulse rate goes low (like 45-55) AND my blood pressure is low (around 100/65 or lower), I feel very tired and washed out. If my pulse is just low but my blood pressure is OK, I feel fine.
What medications are you taking?
Was the ablation treatment for AFib successful? No longer in AFib?
A HR of 54-58 at rest would be fine for most of us, did you used to have a higher rest HR? I mean before AFib. AFib will cause a higher HR when it is active. Were you in permanent AFib before treatment? If so, I'd no be surprised if your resting HR for that period was 100 or more. 58 is better.
What is the condition of your heart efficiency, you ejection fraction is an important measure on how well the pump cycle is working. This is measured by an echocardiogram, in my experience.
