heart/chest sensation

I can only describe the sensation I sometimes get as this: It's like all the valves in my heart open all at once and a small swift river rushes through my heart. It starts off moderately fast, then builds up to a spike with a minor loss of energy, and then just as swiftly goes away but only if I take deep breaths. I know, it sounds odd. Any help?

I can't even understand/imagine such a feeling as you describe.  I know you are "speaking" just in graphic terms, but the analogy you use may sound good to you, but as said I can't translate to anything I can relate too...may be a common problem.
