I assume/hope Lois isn't taking "mega-dose" magnesium. Clearly, to me anyway, if one has a deficiency they should take a supplement. Now for the big question: How do we know we have a deficiency, believe the levels set by doctors, dietitians, the government, who?
I wonder why my doctors keep telling me not to take magnesium supplements. They've tested the level of magnesium in my blood and found it to be normal. I've read that taking too much magnesium can be dangerous. But I've heard so much good stuff about taking mag supplements. This is all so confusing!
