I just read your post...seriously if you are feeling your heart sort of going out of whack and then don't know who you are and lose memory for ten minutes it is time to head to an emergency room...there is obviously something going on with you if your brain is being effected like this which is a signal of lack of oxygen...could be something....could be nothing but for absolutely sure you need to see a doctor....i would not wait until your doctors office opens after the weekend because this is throwing red flags all over the place here...what happens if you are driving? What happens if something happens in your sleep and you can't do anything about it? Think seriously about this and if you get any more symptoms like this or any thing that makes you feel uncomfortable in the least head to the emergency room ASAP or call 911 sometimes our time frames are very narrow in the space of time that things can be reversed or treated...good luck w. this and let us know how you do........................
Ooh, that does sound scary. I don't think you should rule out anxiety quite yet ... during my panic attacks I will often have a sense of unreality, as if the surroundings that should be familiar to me are places I've never been before. However, I can't really say if this is all that is happening to you. I don't know about a stroke, but seriously, the best thing you can do is see a doctor. Skipped heartbeats are usually harmless on their own, but if they are causing weird symptoms like that, it's always best to be sure. Talk to your GP, see what he or she says, and don't worry. I'm sure that there's an explanation, and it probably isn't as bad as you think. Hang in there: you're not alone!
why do we have mini strokes
why would then when it goes skip then regular then skip again it effects the brain and dont know who i am or remember anything for about 10 minutes
Hearts do all kinds of weird things. Skipped heartbeats are actually very common, in all sorts of combinations, and almost always harmless. If they are really bothering you, get your heart checked out by a doctor to make sure that nothing is actually wrong with it, and if he gives you a clean bill of health, then it may just be that your heart has a bit of an attitude problem! My heart has skipped a beat, then pounded, then fluttered, then felt like it is dropping in my chest, then gone back to normal, then skipped again ... there's no end to its irregularities. The trick is not to worry; often the more you do, the worse the problems become. People say to think of them like hiccups. Easier said than done, but the more they happen, the more you realise how benign they are and the calmer you become. And then, more often than not, the rarer they become. These things are more related to anxiety than you would think. As long as you don't have any other symptoms along with the skipped beats, I'll bet you're a healthy girl. Don't worry and take care! Have a great day! :)
We dont have the answer to why. Doctors dont even know. There are some poss.
like electroltye imbalance, heart damage, hormones, etc.. but oftentimes, no idea.
