i had quadruple bypass 6 years ago.now for the last 4 months have'not felt well by the way i am 68.some timews dizzy sweats heart keeps racing.had ecg which showed slow heart rate then fast.I have been told by my doctor theres nothing they can give should i go to the hospital for check up mr b t

I can't really assess if you need to go the hospital over the internet.  If you feel very poorly, you should.  I would need more information to comment on treatment options.  If you have been told there is nothing to do, it might be worth a second opinion by a heart rhythm specialist.  If it is truly too fast and then too slow, pacemakers are often very helpful.
