help for my baby

My 14 month old was just diagnosed with PAC. We, (the family) are all very concerned. this is something that just all of a sudden occurred out of the blue. Now, I have to take my baby to see a cardiovascular specialist. Please explain to me why or how this just all of a sudden happened, and what we can all do to put our hearts at ease. And, also, what we can do to calm her stress level down.

Oh, I thought there must be a some more complicated than that.  PACs are benign.  We all have them, some people to a greater degree than others.  I am not away of any significant negative consequences to pac's -- ask your doctor if there is any reason for concern.  I am not concerned about my adult patients when they have them.

I am not sure that there is much you can do to counsel a 14 month old on pac's.
