high resting heart rate in mornings

high resting heart rate in mornings

Hi, I have been logging my blood pressure reading and my heart rate everyday to determine why I have high blood pressure and high resting heart rates. I found a pattern and I do not know why or if it is good for me to have this pattern. I find I have high resting heart rates in the mornings when I first wake pretty much averages between 95 and 103. Blood pressure often is low in the mornings around 105 over 70. Later in the day when I check it more than once I find my resting heart rate drops down in the 60s and 70s and my blood pressure goes up most of the time to around 120 over 80 and sometimes higher. Is there a logical reason for this? Should my resting heart rate in the morning be at its lowest not highest?

I do have hyperthryroidism and take replacement hormones, 75 mcg and my blood work fluctuates from TSH 2.0 up to 5.0. I also take metformin to control my blood sugar. I often find my blood pressure is higher when my sugar is higher, pretty much hand in hand. My AC1 are below 6% so I am considered well controlled diabetic.
