I have papatations and rapidRapid shallow breathing heartrate my doctored order a echo. the results were mild MR and mild TR and mild pulmonary hypertension with a peak pulmonary artery pressurePressure ulcer of 43. my doctors says to repeat echo in 6 months Should I get a 2nd opinion from a heart doctor? I am very worried. I am in good shape and exercise 5-6 days a week I have no medical problems
It appears you doctor doesn't see anything wrong with either of the above symptoms, and thinks the details of the echocardiogram just need to be watched to see if any condition is getting worse.
All my echocardiograms and other detailed heart work/testing has been under the supervision of my cardiologist. I guess it is better to see a specialist if you are not now doing so.
