I was recently diagnosed with PSVT and i've got an appointment set up with cardiologist to see long term. I am a 21 year old femaleCondoms Female condoms Female sexual dysfunction, a normalNormal saline flush weight. I've been on bloodpressure meds since I was 18, 2 months ago another was added and 1 week ago another one was added, 2 are for the treatment of the psvt also.
I usually feel pretty good thoughout the day but since the diagnosis i've felt tired and felt that skipped heart beat which my cardiologist explained is just an extraExtra strength mylanta calci tabs Extra strength pain relief beat to soon and not in reality a skipped beat. I've also felt dizzy but relate it to the high doses of bloodpressure meds.
What is my outlook being so young and having these issues?
will i have to have ablation or whatever thats called or an ICD or pacemaker?
My Cdoc mentioned these but I'M TOO YOUNG!
I know a young (13) girl that had an ablation for her PSVT and is doing very well - no more events of arrhythmia. As for "skipped" beats (prematurePremature ejaculation Premature infantcontractionsFetal heart and uterine contraction monitor Fetal heart monitoring Tension headache) most people have them and they're not a real problem unless you're having many thousands a day. If you're having PSVT at a high rate, many times a week and it lasts a long time, I'd say go for the ablation if the doctor is recommending it. You may be able to live without the meds and not think about what your heart is doing any more. Your fatigue may be from the new med by the way.
