now in constant trigeminy

Hi all

Since my last posting where I spoke about my PVCs changing and now being so frequent (about 15-20 per min 24 hrs a day), I've now been in constant trigeminy for s couple of days and I'm very scared. O keep feeling dizzy and pressure in my face... When I get runs of bigeminy during it too I get heavy chest pressure. I'm now known as a hypochondriac at the three a&e hospitals local to  me and altho over the psst month its been so bad and they have on occasion brought me in to be monitored over a few days, they say that as my echo in may and my treadmill test in may (as well as an MRI in may but no contrast was given as I'd had a reaction to it a year ago so the radiographer chose not to this time... So now as the MRI results say limited, I'm worried that conditions such as arvd have been missed...especially as my PVCs stem from the rvot)., have been normal. I also had a ct angiogram of my heart done in august and December 2013 which was normal. The drs all say its a benign but not very nice , condition . they give me bisoprolol but won't try anything else (he did consider flecanide but we both weren't keen).

My ep told me that they're from the rvot, that my high stress and anxiety levels as well as me trying to taper off a benzo isnt helping (I've heard of one man who tapered slowly off ativan like me and got afib from it). My ep says I won't die (how can he say this when I've not had an ep study?!) And that I need to try and Get on, BUT that yes he can see and understand that I have bad symptoms with these. (Pressure in mg chest, nose. Very lightheaded suddenly etc). I see him again In five weeks where hell think about different meds but ablation is far from his mind due to potential complications in me(listed in previous post).

I'm 31 and I'm in constant symptomatic trigeminy. That is so frightening especially as I have a small child and I don't want her to see me collapse or faint...Or die. One Dr said to me "I'm surprised you haven't passed out by now"... This is to someone who has severe anxiety about this already.

Has anyone else been like me? Constant (and I mean no breaks) PVCs for over a month? Trigeminy for days? I'm so scared I will collapse. If I do that will be it for me. The fear will take over .

Thanks and sorry for going on

Hello,

My best to you, and my heart goes out to you....i have had very bad episodes of PVCs, many thousands, but someimes they eventually
go away. Try a beta blocker (Sectral) if your doctor writes it. It helped mine at their worst. I would see about an anti anxiety agent to help you through this. I know how miserable this is .... I had an EP study done on mine in '99 and I did not like it one bit. I have had PVCs for almost 40 years.
Stay close to the forum. And do try to get something for the anxiety.
Also, walking daily, good excersise excellent for PVCs.

God Bless

(((HUGS)))  My heart goes out to you.  I hope you can get a handle on these soon or that they go away.  That sometimes happens too.  They come and go sometimes for what seems like no reason.

Try coughing to see if that breaks the pattern you find yourself in.  Try getting active as a higher heart rate from exercise can sometimes make them stop.  As well, like I suggested before, do whatever you need to do to get a handle on the anxiety so you can be a candidate for an ablation and/or help lessen the symptoms you are having.  You can't get these to stop completely but you can take steps to get yourself in a possible position for a cure or at least in a better mental state to be able to function.  Best of luck.  I know you are miserable and I do hope you feel better soon.  Stay strong.

So about 30,000 per day.... I think that's way too many to not have something done about it.  I'm not familiar with your medical system in the UK.  Can you go to a different electrophysiologist?
