odd chest discomfort

For the last 3 years I have odd chest pains and the location and type of pain changes. Sometimes it is sharp sometimes it is an ache. Sometimes on the left side sometimes in the middle. It is wierd because it changes. The pain does not come on with exertion and I do not get short of breath. I have had 2 ekgs and they read normal. My dr tells me it is my panic and anxiety disorder. Do these problems sound cardiac?

It does not sound cardiac.  Cardiac pain is usually worse with exertion, improves with rest. usually feels the same each time (pressure, pain, sometimes radiating to the arm or neck).  Cardiac pain is almost never described as sharp or fleeting.
