pac and pvc

Hello to everyone,

I am new here and was reading all of your posts.  I am sure glad to hear that i am not alone with PVC's and PAC's. But i'm not glad that any of us has them.  My doctor says that they are from stress.  I first had them over a year ago when they were diagnosed.  They went away by themselves for more than a year.  Out of nowhere they started again, now everyday for about 6 months.  They are scarry and have given me many many panick attacks at night.  I do take anxiety meds for it.  I am in school for medical assisting (I love, love, love it) and have so much anxiety just because i am in school it has made the pvc's non stop.  When I do my clinicals my hands tremble so much even though my mind is in complete control.  I was prescribed Toprol, but i am very afraid to take them.  My card. dr. said i could take it like a Tylenol (when i need it).  I have tried positive thinking and I am even reading the "Secret".

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what i can do to control the skaking?  Thanks to everyone.  Happy belated mother's day!

I do a lot of fine work with my hands and notice the same thing (by the way, I have thousands of pvcs per day and it's not related to the shaking).

I find that doing a little stretching, lazy, gentle neck circles, shoulder shrugs, rubbing my hands together to get/keep them warm helps to relax the muscles. Believe it or not, even doing some facial stretches, like saying but exaggerating the vowels a,e, i, o, u helps to reduce tension because I find I hold tension in my face too, and sometimes even though I'm happy I can have quite a furrowed brow.

Have you asked your Dr about the shaking? If it's adrenaline related a beta blocker could help.
