"pacemaker,chronic atrial fibrillation, palpitations"

I have a "pacemaker and chronic atrial fibrillation and palpitations" and still very active at 95. my computer replies no information available. anyone else has this condition and what can be done about it?

I have quite a few palpitations. I had a pacemaker implanted 3 weeks ago for A fib.  What about the palps...any way to help

I suffer from permanent AFib, but I have no experience with a pacemaker.  That said, I don't think there is anything a pacemaker can do about AFib.   If you palpitations are irregular heart beats, and a heart rate that is higher than you would like, say over 100 bpm, it could be due some of to the AFib signals getting through.  I take both a beta blocker and calcium channel blocker to reduce the number of extra heart beats I get from the AFib.  This keeps my resting HR below 100, usually in the 80 range.  Of course, I am "only" 72, and know my AFib will likely get more troublesome as the years pass.
