my daughter just found out she is six weeks pregnant. She has had two ablations with 23 burns to her heart. They have given her Toprol on an as needed basis, 25mg. Am concerned re fetal damage as well as concerned about her heart issues. She has unacceptable arrhythmia and tachycardia. At the present she is ding quite well but heart rate still accerates when she raises her arms. Anyone else have similiar problems?
What do you mean by unacceptable arrhythmia? Is this your opinion or did a doctor say this? When I was pregnant, my heart acted liked a VERY bad child. There should be no fetal connection with Toprol. Were the ablations before she got pregnant? What has her doctor said?
