I dont drink any caffine since sept of 2002... I do have nsvt and svt. The cardio office called today said it could be dehydration or stress .. I disagree I have been drinking more water than normal.. Last night it wouldnt go below 90..

I agree that if one has had a history of a resting HR around 60 and then suddenly it goes to 80, something is "amiss".  Could it be your 80 is due to something like more caffeine, or you are under more emotional stress?

As you note, 80 isn't a "problem" number, but the change suggests something has changed.  I think it unlikely that you heart's "electrical/timing" system just suddenly changed.
