right axis deviation - ECG

by cva, May 07, 2009 11:51PM
I visited my doctor for check up last week. He informed me that I have irregular heartbeats and sent me out for Blood tests and ECG.   Blood tests indicated normal CK and CK-MB level, ECG reported " sinus rhythm 71 BPM and Right axis deviation".  My doctor said it will cause fluid buildup in lower limbs and cause chest pains after long walks but also said I don't have to worry about this.  I still have concerns.    Please advise if my heart is still okay with this right axis deviation?  Will it be serious in the long term?
Many thanks.
