right side chest pain and abnormal T wave

right side chest pain and abnormal T wave

I am a 53 year old male, 5'6" and 155 lbs.  High cholesterol and taking naisporin and statin drug.  Family history of heart disease.  Normal chest x-ray, abnormal T wave on EKG and right side chest pain. What does all of this mean and are there other tests I should try to have done?

If you are having chest pains, have cardiac risk factors, and an abnormal EKG, you should have a stress test at the very least, possibly even a heart cath.  I think if you talk to your doctor about the chest pains, with those symptoms, they will probably recommend the stress test.  If you chest pain is active now, you should call your doctor or the doctor on call.

I hope this helps.
