Well a couple of things to think about -  How often do you have an attack,  how long does it typically last and is there something you do to lessen it once it happens.

I don't think life should go on hold because of a what if :-)  If you know the worst that happens is an attack.. and you know how to cope with it if it happens then go for it:-)

attacks have been happening quite often, usually at night and they last hours.  last 2 I had i ended up in A&E.  Have been told by cardiologist next time it happens to go straight back in, nothing I can do will lessen it.  I suppose I shall just have to try and see!

It's a difficult situation to be in and worrying about it before it happens isn't going to make sex very enjoyable for you :-(  Why don't you talk to your cardio about your concerns?

HI there,
I just saw your other post, so will combine what I feel I can add to help you here.
I have had SVT for 20 years now and I can honestly say, that my sex life has been completely normal in all that time.
It's important to remember that an SVT attack can happen at any time, in any random situation, so you just cannot stop it happening. However, the more you learn to live with it the more you realise what can trigger it off. For some people, it is caffeine or alcohol. Mine are worse when I'm stressed and tired and like you mentioned before, when bending forward.
Trips to hospital for adenosine treatment are not pleasant are they? It's a horrible drug. Please don't feel like ending it all. There are options available to you. You might be able to go on a daily beta blocker which may calm it down, and you may have periods of time where you feel nothing at all. Personally, drugs have never worked for me and I am now just trying a strong dose of Sotalol before an ablation due in the next couple of months. Please see your doctor and discuss all of your fears and be honest about when you've had your attacks like you've been on here. The more information you give, the better treatment you will get. If drugs eventually do not work, there is always ablation to consider.
Try not to let SVT rule your life and stop you doing whatever you want to do. It is scary and horrible, but you will learn some of your triggers and with correct treatment you might well soon feel generally a lot better. Try to manage your stress levels and keep positive. I will help with any questions you have if I can. I've had it for 20 years and I'm still here, so please don't feel like this is the end.
Best wishes.
