shortness of breath

shortness of breath

recently i have had shortness of breath, from doing the the simplist things even when i am sitting or lying down. six months ago i had multiple ekg's, 2- echos, tilt table test, blood work, and was on an event monitor, so i am pretty sure its not heart related. can anyone tell me why i might be feeling this way. i have a hiatal hernia can this cause shortness of breath. I read a lot of articles saying a hernia does not cause any symptoms then i read some that list quite a few symptoms. please help, this feeling is horrible feeling, its become pretty constant at times.

If you haven't already read, you may find something helpful in:

Given you A+ grade from the cardiologist, it seems clear it isn't your heart that is causing  a shortness of breath.  Still, if you have a low heart rate and/or a low blood pressure, these could cause the shortness of breath, and likely dizziness.  It seems you HR/BP are normal enough that they did not raise any concern by your doctor(s).
