side effects

Is anyone willing to share any side effects of flecanaide, zoloft or Klonpin used to treat PVCs?

I posted a question previously about Flecainide and dyspnea, I have been on 100mg/2 day for about 5 or 6 weeks I guess. It's keeping me in rhythm and in fact I haven't had any PVCs that I know of. I'm also taking 240mg Cardizem, which I've taken for a long time. I am having a lot of trouble with shortness of breath. It may be a little better than it was but it isn't good. The other side effects have lessened except for vivid dreams, and I can put up with that. My question is, if anybody else had shortness of breath, did it go away after a while? I'm not sure I can tolerate this forever. I also wonder if it is just an artifact of the drug or if the negative inotropic effect (which Cardizem has too) is causing my heart to pump less strongly. That would be a problem, as far as I'm concerned. My cardiologis says "Flecainide requires rate control", hence the Cardizem. I don't know why he says that. Unless I am in a-fib my heart rate is normal. I am thinking of cutting the Cardizem down to 120 mg (I have some of those) to see if it helps. Anybody have shortness of breath on Flecainide? Little help?

As lagoya mentioned, you may or may not experience side effects.  If so, they range from annoying side effects to serious side effects.  If it's helpful, when I took flecainide, I had weird dreams, shakiness, tremors and gastointestinal problems.  It wasn't horrible, but it was bothersome enough that the doctor switched me to rhythmol.

Great suggestion from lagoya on checing out the medication under "Health Topics" above.

hi
i was on flecanaide for pvcs going into svt runs and while it is the main med of choice for now .
it did not suit me.i got a lot of stomach probs on it.but that is not to say it won't suit u.
i prefer now just to use a beta blocker and found inderal the easiest to take -nebliet is better and longer lasting  but it was throwing my hr down to the 40's.

u can look up flecanaide in here on the drugs info in the top right
all these drugs have some form of side effects it just depends wheather they suit or not.
