sinus tachy, regurgitation, heart murmer, birth control

My dr recently found i had a heart murmer, which i would say was probably caused by scarlet fever as a child.  She sent me for an echo the conclusions were

1. normal LV size and resting function, ejection fraction 70%
2. Anterior mitral valve leaflet elongated.  No MVP.  Trivial mitral regurgitation
3. Trivial tricuspid regurgitation
4. Sinus Tachycardia

Now i have been told all this is normal and the murmer is innnocent,  however whenever i go on birth control pill my heart beat races continuesly,  i can feel it thumping, once i clocked it doing 150bpm and i was just sitting down.  and also my period is a lot heavier when i am on the pill.  and my mood is totally feral and i get depressed.

now going by the conclusions of my echo should i not take the birth control pill?  I am not taking it now as i hate what it does to me.

is this normal?
