skipped beats when bending over

I have pvc's sometimes, but why does my heart skip and have an irregular beat when i am standing and i lean over to do something?

I also do the same thing, but only after i eat. It is because you when you bend down, you are putting pressure into the chest cavity. It can stimulate your vagal nerve. My cardiologist told me this. I can eat, then sit down and put my shoes on and it causes PVC's.

I have this happen also. Mine are due to the hiatal hernia I have, it slides up into the chest cavity, this hits the vagal nerve and bingo, a PVC. It also happens when I drink a lot of water.

This happens to me too, not always, but very often. Like you, SassyLassie, I also have a hiatal hernia and I always suspected it had a lot to do with my PACs because of the vagal nerve being in the area. So I guess marshaldillon's right on the money because bending down will stimulate the vagal nerve.

yes, bending over, or suddenly standing up or lying down will sometimes trigger a few.
