Hi,  I am a 43 yo male wt 252 lb hgt 5/10 active farmer and run a retail business under somewhat stress .My chest feels tight all the time sort of like my stomach is too full. Recently had chest aches and tightness,  somewhat sob. Numbness and pain  in the end of fingertips on left hand  , upper arm pain rear .  I felt skip heart beats that feel like a flip in my chest and goes all the way down to my groin which makes me feel like I have urinated .  I have high blood pressure /cholesterol meds I 'm on are benzapril/hctz 40/25  a day, pravachol,80mg  these two celexa and buspar just started for anxiety over the chest pains and skip beats. Two years ago had a mri nuclear scan of kidneys showed 40% to 50% blockages in 2 kidney arteries and stress nuclear mri of heart show normal perfusion two years ago . Last week coming home from work heart skip beats and  it  flip and flutter all the way to my groin and felt like I had urinated on myself . I went to er and cardiac enzymes normal, ecg show supraventricular extrasystoles 2 or 3 every few hours ,release the next day with a holter moniter .  It show pvc's  . I feel these and they are horrible my chest flips and feels like the wind is knock out me and I get light headed and arms get heavy.  Are these symptoms normal with pvcs or supraventricular extrasystoles with no underling heart coronary disease?  And is  supraventricular extrasystole a pac or pvc?

Hello...

A Supraventricular extrasystole is a PAC (Supra= above the ventricles)  The sypmtoms you describe definitely go hand in hand from these ectopic beats. Based on previous testing which revealed no underlying  heart disease these beats would be xonsidered benign.

You mentioned that you are currently under a bit of stress...this can absolutely have an impact on these ectopics (increasing them) I know sometimes it is impossible to reduce stress levels in your life but this may be the cause of this ectopy.

I hope that you find some relief:)
