Sounds like you might already know - not enough blood to your brain caused you to lose consciousness.  Could have been your SVT's.  It would probably be a good idea to see a doc again.

Are you on any medications?

Has this happened before?  Now, you have fainted once, but how often are you dizzy with it?  25mg of Toprol xl is not very much so you have a lot of room to move within the limitations of med treatment only.  You need to see your md and likely get a holter or an event monitor or both.  If you have paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, and it happens often, you may need to be anticoagulated (on blood thinners) to prevent strokes.  If it is just SVT and they know that, then you won't form any clots in you atria.  When people here get tachycardia and get told to just "deal with it", that is not when the rates are into the 200s.  Those need to be treated.  Even outside the realm of med treatment, there are options.  If an ablation would work for you, it is nice if you can avoid the side effects- especially as you are young and would mean many years of meds.  Go see your doctor and come back here anytime for questions and support.  Blessings to you.

If you got out of bed in the middle of the night and went to the bathroom still sort of sleepy your fainting spell could easily have been vasovagal syncope.  Its pretty common and occurs when your BP drops inappropriately (can be induced by many many things).  Some people have frequent episodes while others may only have a single occurence due to a variety of factors that throw off the vascular system (I have family members who have frequent episodes and a family member who has had a single episode in 30+ years).  Google vasovagal syncope and you'll see several clear explanations.  The other possibilities would be POTs or your aforementioned SVT (though all these conditions may be tied together and aren't necessarily mutually exclusive).  Definitely check in with your Dr. but if you already know you have SVT I assume your heart was checked at the time of diagnosis so you can take some solace in the fact that you're structurally sound with some benign conditions that you'll want to moniter.  Best of luck
