hi im 21 and i used to suffer from svt palpatations last tuesday had my ablation done and i have had 4 pregnancies with this condition as long as u dont go to the point of passing out there is no real cause for concern my palps used to last for over an hour and my doctors sed my babys was safe so long as i went to a&e if they went over an hour all my kids are fine 100% i had to be cautious at the birth just in case they started but apart from that no probs but a word of warnin hormones produced in pregnancy makes them alot worse and this continues after birth i wud highly recommend to have ablation done before kids come along its really hard havin baby with an svt condition the tiredness is unreal and makes things so much harder plus can u imagine how unsafe it is to have a bad palp with newborn baby on ur own yeah i found out the hard way

I, also, have SVT and had an ablation done 4 years ago. I'm a healthy 26 year old and stay active but it seems like the ablation didn't do much. The symptoms are not as bad or frequent but they are still there. What can I do? My biggest concern is my husband and I are ready to start having children and this is preventing us from doing so since there are not many studies done to show the effects of SVT and the unborn child. Any advise?

Are you having symptoms of SVT again? What type of SVT did you have your ablations for?
