symptom

I do have one question. So many of you describe feelings of being SOA or heart racing. Mine does not feel that way....I rarely have shortness of air and I rarely have the flip flop feeling. Mine feels like just a little...well, like a "POINK"....kind of like a nerve or muscle jump? Is this really a PAC/PVC or is it something worse? Or nothing to worry myself sick over? I do get dizzy alot and if I am running around I get shaky and they happen...almost like my blood sugar is low. No, I am not diabetic. I also have low b/p, normal circulation according to an ankle brachial test. My ears ring all the time and I had an audio test done that revealed that I could not hear low tones......people speaking and such. I was very worried about this because I heard that tinnitus could single poor circulation or arteriosclerosis.

My husband who is 38 suffers from this as well. Every other beat and sometimes up to 10,000 a day. It is beyond depressing, we have tried ablations, supplements, cutting out alcohol, coffee etc, acupuncture, an ablation and NOTHING has worked. Its at a point where he says he cannot imagine living like this.

He had SVT and that went a way after an ablation in 2002. He used have some heart pvc's and then about a year and a half ago they started out after losing 40lbs working out. He is in the best shape of his life now and does triathlons (when he exercising he has no pvc's which is why he is obsessed with working out). It's the only relief he gets in his day. The wake up all night and are non stop.

He did a second ablation about a year ago for the pvc's and it was unsuccessful.

About 2 months ago I researched a different  electropsyiologist at Cornell. We met with him and he wants to do another ablation but he says there are no guarantees. Last time (unsuccessful attempt) cost us $6k we are still paying for due to crappy insurance.

Did yours come back? Do you have any new advice for this condition. I've read blog after blog, and talked to so many doctors and no one has a solution or at least a way of decreasing them.

He recently started taking L trytophan as a supplement and they went away (down to less than 50 a day) and yesterday they came back with vengeance. We were bot so hopeful that we found the solution but we were wrong.  I just feel so awful for him. This is not living and I just wish someone had an answer so he can live his life and be a happy. He is wonderful father and husband and deserves the gift of a healthy heart.
