symptomatic pvc's

symptomatic pvc's

I have had pvc's since March of 2005' after a very stressful time at work.I was driving and I felt a weird feeling in my stomache.Over the years they have come and gone but never really bothered me.A couple of months ago they started
getting stronger and more prevalent, especially after eating. What's strange is I drink coffee in the morning before work and I eat a apple or banana and I do not get any pvc's.I eat a very small lunch and right after they start big time. They
might let up but after I eat dinner they start again and do not stop.If I lay down they are not as bad.I also have some
lightheadedness that strangely mostly occurs at night after dinner. It's minor but scary.I was diagnosed with MCTD 10 years ago so I am used to various strange symptoms.I would love to hear from other people with pvc's and symptoms
that are supposedly benign.I am a 48 year old man.I do not smoke.I am a little over weight but I am working on it.I take alot of supplements.COQ10,Magnesiuim, oral chelation pills, a probiotic(flora source).I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Have you spoken to your doctor about these changes?  MCTD (for readers who don't know that's mixed connective tissue disease) can lead to a lot of your "various strange symptoms" and this may be one of those.

Lots of people with PVC's have associated stimulation of the vagus nerve during swallowing with triggering episodes.  So, you swallow your food, it trips the vagus nerve, your blood pressure dives a bit, your heart races to catch up, and the PVC's kick in as a response to the adrenaline push your body used to increase HR.

I'm not remotely sure if your situation is anything like that, it may be, or it may be a new symptom of your particular illness.  Since MCTD can progress over time, you may want to call your doctor and report these most recent symptoms.

Take care,
A
