weird signs related to heart

hello ,

i'd like to post something I've been through and i don't know what to do or what does it mean , is it illness or just something i can ignore ?
first : when i get up from sleep or when im doing any kind of activity suddenly i feel like a so thin needle stabbing my chest pointing on my heart , this has no time its just coming suddenly .
second : when im doing any activity too , sometimes i feel like my heartbeat suddenly changed , first its normal then it stops just for short time then first beat is so slow until it become normal again , it feels like some kind of huge object entered my heart and stopped it. i don't know if that's what you mean by skipping heartbeat , & i forget to mention i had past heart illness which i had surgery to cure it because of the increase of the heart size.

what do you recommend me to do ? ECG or just regular check up ?
please if anyone is expert reply asap please ..

thanks

This is only the members section.  We are not doctors and cannot advise you on what you should do but if I were you I would go see the cardiologist for a check up.  You have a heart history and are having new symptoms so it is worth getting evaluated.  The symptoms may be nothing but just go get a check up to be sure.  Take care and keep us posted on how you are doing.
