what could it be

ok so this is when it started....5 yrs ago i was in Las Vegas...got sick,flu like....got home was put on antibiotics for bronchitis......a few days later started with heart palps..felt like my heart was flopping in my chest...got scared,wen to a doc,had EKG.....he said i had a left bundle branch blockage....went to a heart doc.....had echogram...same thing....said heart was fine,strong and doing what it should.....been living with this since.....fast forward to last mon.....was suppose to have gallbladdr out.....was all the way into the OR....had heart monitor on and doc said NOPE.....to many arrhythmias,PVS,PAC,HR was 146....mentioned bundle branch again too.....so....went to another cardio...had stress test....walked NOT even 2 mins and heartrate went to 150s.....while i was laying there waiting for doc...any movemnet would send it to 102-112......lay still back it was 80s 90s......he put me on BYSTOLIC.....had no palps since the first dose taken........HR is down.......he put off surgery....i am going for  2nd oppinon to syracuse,NY.....heart specialist.......hope soon......anyway.....could my being sick 5 yrs ago bring all this on???    wish i knew what was gpoing on...any ideas???

I assume you have asked the same questions of your doctor(s), whatever they told you is more than you can expect to get here, I think.

Still, I think a flu would not cause you any heart damage, nor would antibiotics.   That's how I see it.

There are illnesses known to cause heart and valve problems, like rheumatic fever, comes to mind.  You didn't mention any valve problems, but to my knowledge flu is not one of them.
