where is a list for heart doctors rating

One heart specialist recommended this another said you have detiorating heart disease there is nothing to do.  Just 20 % is pumping we don't like the doctor recommending surgery the doctor we do like is away until Spring, what to do ?

Definately get a second opinion and if your doctor is away until spring....i'd find someone that doesn't take extended leaves of absence.  You need to go on line...type your city and top cardiologists or cardio surgeons and start reading...look for other patients who have posted....look for any special awards the doc has gotten for excellence in training and advanced training then link into the American Medical Association to be sure that the doc has no complaints or pending legal suits.  You can start there....to tell you that "there is nothing he/she can do" to me is ridiculous in this day of medical science.  Also whatever the diagnosis is that they gave you also type in that during your search.  DO NOT GIVE UP!!!  The heart is the main pump to our body and your life could depend on your actions now.....the worst thing that could happen is that you'll get the same result but even then i wouldn't give up....good luck and let us know how it turns out for you.....
