wolf parkinsons white syndrome

by cookienkikin, Apr 07, 2008 08:49AM
I'm really concerned now about my palpatations developing into a dangerous arrythmia.  I was reviewing my ekg's from awhile back and 3 out of 6 of them I have a short PR Interval. They are 112 ms, 119ms, 118ms, 122ms, 143s, 124ms.  The one with the 119ms also says High QRS Voltage and Q's in II, III, and aVF.  I was really concerned about Wolf White Parkinson's (WPW) syndrome, because of this and all the palpatations that I feel.  Could you please tell me what all this represents and if I should get this more checked out from what I've given you. Thank you so much!!!

also none of the doctors that I've seen said anything about it,unitl i just recently brought it up at a visit and she said it's a good find and a possibility and we did an ekg right there and it was normal pr interval 120, she said it could change from time to time so im waiting to wear a holter monitor. I just was doing research on my own and thought about it. So you think I could be correct? Are these really short PR Interval's? Why wouldn't anyone have said anything before? Would the symptoms that I have present in WPW? What are the chances that I have this?
Just in case you dont remember me I'm the 22 yr old male with the left side chest pain and the palpatations and I live in Louisiana. I only have one ecg that has the Q in II, III, and avF, actually there is two copies of that same ecg just one of them has all the other terms on it. So i guess it could be the same on these other ones i have i just dont have the other copy that has the computer interpretation? Is that possible?  Is it possible to go undetected with all the ecg's and doctor visits that I've had?  Is is possible to be apparent in one ecg and then not in another at a later time??  Also what does the accelerated AV conduction mean? I'm going to send the copies to you when I get back, I have to attend a meeting right now. In the mean time it would be greatly appreciated if you could shed some light on the questions that I have. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't say it enough. Thanks again.

I have palpatations all the time and they scare me, they cause me shortness of breathe sometimes.  I also have the left side chest pain and sometimes my heart pounds really hard.   is there a possibility one of the syndromes i listed above could just appear suddenly out of nowheres since i had the last ekg done?  Thank you sooooooo much for your time. I seen my doc friday to discuss my echo results, which it said normal.    Thanks so much!!
