wpw 3rd ablation

wpw 3rd ablation

hi, i'm 34 yrs old male from the philippines. i was diagnosed with wolff-parkinson-white syndrom (syndrome) last oct 2006. since then i had 2 ablation, drs told me that my last ablation was a success but now when i had my last check up due to almost fainting bec. i felt that my heart skipped 3 consecutive beats, made me fely weak and lightheaded told me that my wpw is back. so my dr told me that we have to go do the ablation again.

i'm on tambocor 50m a day, till we schedule when the next procedure will be, lately been feeling really weird, my dizziness - off balance sensation all day seems to worsen and feeling fatigued. can this be bec of the meds? or bec of my wpw? been like this since i was diagnosed, dizziness never went away, what could be causing this?

thanks all.. God bless.

Seeing your post about to "slip" off of page one I will make a guess (or in other words I don't have solid knowledge) on how to better understand what's going on.  First, look at the listed side effects of the meditations you are taking.  Some may say this is normal and you should in most cases "live with it", then there are some side effects that indicate possible serious conditions that need to be addressed.  In the latter case, talk with your doctor.

What I remember about  WPW is that is generally responsive to ablation, seems in your case 2 ablations was not enough.  I'd guess a third ablation should produce better results.

thanks jerry for your response.. really appreciate it.. i'm really hoping that my 3rd ablation would be a success and that this will be the last ablation. God bless

Hi, do you know where is your accessory pathway located?  I also got wpw.  I have only once ablation.  My accessory pathway manifested over night after the ablation.   Too quick, wasn't it?

yes sometimes it does, i think mine say right posteroseptal accessory pathway.. something like that, lol ddnt really anderstand what that means. my last ecg however (taken last month) says, sinus tachycardia, lbbb, and schemia? havnt ask my drs yet what all those means, kinda afraid i guess..

are you going thru a 2nd ablation?

No, after the ablation, I only have wpw pattern not syndrome.  Later on, I also developed complete heart block, SSS and A-Fib.

Ischemia, is the muscle lack of oxygen and blood supply.  It could be the ECG picks up the ablation scar.  I also got RBBB & LBBB.
