Double Whammy -Hemmoroids & Prostate

I suspect my swollen internal Hemorrhoid is pressing against my “slightly swollen” prostate, putting me in much discomfort. The pain however is intermittent and I’m wondering why???

1) Is my 14 mile round trip Bicycle commute contributing? I bike over a major bridge and set my gear to the hardest level to strengthen my legs; in effect doing alternating leg presses whenever I go uphill.
2) Also is there a connection to my enlarged prostate and active sexual periods and a painful and frequent urge to urinate? The “Urinary Nerve” can get quite irritated at times?

I am trying to manage my dual problems by
A) Drinking water frequently
B) Taking Flomax
C) Taking cocoa butter Hemmorrhoidal suppositories.

My proctologist said surgery might be a short term solution –is there anything else I could do to manage these dual conditions instead?
