Haemorrhoids

Hi, i am 25 and when i go to bathroom i can feel a lump prolapsing. I bled first time around six years ago but then it didn't bleed for around a year and a half. I bled again weekly or fortnightly  for around a month or two. i guess because i had a lot of butter, spicy food and due the depression. My mom and several relatives had piles too. But a few years ago i went to see a doctor, who didn't even check me properly and asked for colonoscopy. The doctor didnt pay any attention towards me and he didn't even talk to me almost. I went to see other doctor/surgeon, and he told that he found 2nd stage haemorrhoids and there is no need of colonoscopy... I didn't bleed again for a year and a half. But recently i had butter again and this time the area near my bottom swelled and later i lifted some wait and dropped a few drops of fresh blood. Bleeding stopped and i feel ok again, i went to see the doctor a couple of days ago, and he told me that he found piles still at stage 2, but also asked for colonoscopy to 'check if the rest of the guts are ok.'i got nervous and my symptoms don't look something serious, in fact  i took a picture of my bottom a few months ago when it swelled and the picture resembled to the ones found on google while looking for the piles.  I don't have constipation or loose motion, but doctor didn't have time to listen to my story because his clinic was over crowded with patients. Also i work in media and i am well aware that doctors receive a huge amount of money  from the med testing shops.  I don't bleed randomly, i only bleed when i take butter for a week continuously,or too much  of  kiwi fruit, fatty meat, more then five dates or walnuts, too much of watermelon. I am a smoker, and my appetite is good. When i press my belly i don't feel any pain or discomfort... I am just afraid why do i need colonoscopy and ultrasonography?

Hi and sorry your worried. Hemorrhoids can be a life long delimma and short of some simple surgery the bleeding will come and go. Excess gas can have them flair up also as the pressure will cause the balloning and popping again. Try to use some Tucks wipes and talk to your doctor about some 2% corizone cream to help the inflamed tissues at the most uncomfortable times.

The other tests are just normal tests and is good to have them done once in a while. I would not be concerned about the tests  and if the state is paying then all the better.
Your just fine.

Thats good news and i knew you were ok. Dont let your hemorrhoids control your life. You have them and just learn to live with them. Most doctors do not recommend the simple surgery, they recommend a high fiber diet so eat alot of yummy salads and maybe take some of the OTC gasx pills once in a while.
and thanks for the best answer!!

I went for colonscopy and ultrasonography yesterday, everything was fine, only piles. I am so relieved finally.  I was so nervous before colonoscopy but apart from a little pangs at some points, it felt ok,  in fact i enjoyed the high due to the stuff they injected in my arm.

Thanks a lot for your comment. Yes i'm getting the tests done in a couple of day. Fingers crossed. State is not paying but it is not that expensive. I bled only a few times last year and this year. It swells only when i eat something that i know will cause the problem.  But when i bleed i feel really tired and restless. I m skinny but my weight has been constant  for last six to seven years... .
