How long does it take for hemorrhoids to go away? I have an external hemorrhoid about the size of a pea. I have been using prep-h but it really is helping. Should I see my Doctor or just wait for it to go away.
Hi and welcome and sorry the late reply. What helps best in my experience is to get a 2.5% cortizone cream prescribed by your doctor. It helps inflamed tissues and will also thin the skin on the balloned area allowing the ballon to pop to let the blood out. You can call you doctor about this and maybe he will call in a script to your pharmacy.
