Something more than Hemmoroids?

Mid March I was laid out with the worst cough i've ever had in my life.  Deep cough.  After a week i went to a walk in clinic on our way to a 3 day school activity for our kids.  She tested me negative for influenza but prescriped me a z pack and pregnazone.  I felt worlds better within hours.  Fast forward five days later my butt started pulsating, almost like a something was moving but probably a nerve.  It would be severe a few hours after pooping.  once in a while there would be blood.  it looked like there was small white elongated chunks in once in a while.  a few weeks after this i went to the doctor.  He stuck a finger in my butt and i gave a stool sample.  It was only checked for parasites because of i told him of the sensation of something moving in my rectum.  I bought some internal hemmoroid cream and used that.  It didn't seem to help.  6 weeks later i went back again, different doctor as the first one seemed more annoyed than anything.  This was a PA the next time.  Same thing, stuck a finger in. talked about hemmoroids.  Prescribed me some stronger hemmorod cream.  It was $300 so at the last minute we grabbed some more (different) internal cream plus some suppositories.  6 weeks later i called back and talked to her nurse.  SHe said the prescription was quite a bit stronger.  Try it for two weeks and then we can see about follow up if problems still.  I've been meaning to get in but its a week later and no change.  I rarely go to the doctor but this time something is obviosly wrong.  Sometimes when i poop its painful on one side, like theres a growth.  Other times its not that painful, usually when its painless, a few hours later its very uncomfortable.  This will last like 8 hours.  It feels like my entire rectum (not one side) is rashy and dry and i feel the puslating sensation.  I no longer bleed.  I'm 37 years old.  I've had a brother in law younger than me last year that had surgery to remove internal hemmoroids.  I have better insurance but seems like i get the run around when i just want verification that is whats wrong.

Forgot to mention, about two months ago it hurts a little when i pee.  More towards the end of my penis, like its getting squeezed.  Not sure if that's related or not.
