Treatments for hemorrhoid

Hi. I'm Hyacinth, 27 years old. I have an external hemorrhoid for 5 years now. I had it when I gave birth to my son. My doctor prescribed a medicine called Hemorid and a cream called Faktu. I stopped taking Hemorid because it makes my stool so soft, and when it is, my hemorrhoid tend to be more painful. The cream Faktu actually helps to lessen the pain. What's frustrating me is that my daily activities were affected because of my hemorrhoids. I don't know what else to do to make  my hemorrhoids vanish. I really need your help.

Hi,
I have had several external and one internal hemorroid ( level 3) since 2010 after I naturally gave birth. It really affected my sex life. My family doc and the colorectal surgeon both advised to have surgery. I did it 3 days ago in a hospital under full anaestesia. Not much pain after and if I have pain, I take Tylenol 3 (prescribed). I live in Toronto so if you need the name of the doc, let me know.
