I would like to give you my story,
I am a 23 yr old female. Pretty healthy and no stds. Three years ago I had started bleeding after passing stool, I figured that I pushed too hard so it will go away eventually, two days later I was fine, but I was so darn itchy and red on my butt area. I started taking fiber everyday and felt better, fast forward three years. The same thing happend again, this time I freaked out a little since it wouldn't stop itching and it hurt to sit down or do anything, I called my dr he told me to go to the ER, so I did, and they saw a teeny tiny hemmroid like they had to search to see it. Well then after I kept checking periodically. And I saw the hemmroid but it was too small and didn't stick out, well I kept itching and felt as if fluid was on my butt at all times. It was pretty annoying! Finally I asked my dr to take a look because the drs in the ER barley saw it and almost passed it up. Anyway first he said that he sees nothing except that it looks irritated. Then he slightly applied pressure to the spot I said that the hemmroid was at and he saw it!!! Well then I started checking in the mirror, like the mirror was under me and I lifted a leg to see, and I sometimes saw the darn hemmroid sticking out making the fluid come out and make me itchy!!!!  Now I use witch hazel when the hemmroid is out because it shrinks the hemmroid, and I use cortisones on the outside for the itching which helps alot!!!
So I just want to let you know that it's not always cancer or stds!!!!

he showed me redness and mucus in rectum
he took biopsy of rectal mucosa
now kindly tell me what it could be
i have been tested for stds . but all were normal

is it possible that doctor might have missed anal wart

Hi!
Worms are the commonest cause of anal itch. Scratching repeatedly can cause sores. Itchy anus can also be due to undigested food like citrus fruits, grapes, certain spices, tomatoes, certain medicines like antibiotics and laxatives and certain drinks like beer, milk, tea, or coffee. IBS, Crohn’s and food intolerance should also be looked into. If you can identify any of these triggers, maybe it will help you.
Anal fissures, hemorrhoids, threadworms can all cause anal itch. Itch can also be due to irritants like synthetic fiber, toiletries or fungal infection. Genital warts and sores of herpes should also be ruled out. Eczema, dermatitis and fungal infection can also cause this. You need to consult a skin specialist and colo-rectal surgeon for confirmed diagnosis. Your PCP too can help run basic tests like stool examination and STD swab tests for herpes and genital warts. Take care!
