As far as I know, sexually, it can be transmitted through "rimming". The virus can be in the blood and specially in feces.
That's the reason all food should be very well washed before eating and you should avoid every type of untreated water like well water.
I got HepA 2 years ago form fruits that I had in an "organic juice place".
I heard that some farmers use their own stool for fertilizers in their plantation.
