Hepatitis C alert

im scared, i had hepa screening test last aug. 12 and the doctor inform me that my hepa C is reactive. My previous hepa profile last aug.2 and feb. was non reactive.. i undergo 2 test to confirm if i am really a career. Im scared, what is the percentage that i have the disease? or it was just a false alarm.  no previous blood transfusion history, not an alcoholic nor a drug user. but i hve two incident of needle ***** while im working at the hospital. please help

Hi well, if you do have HepC the treatment is interferon and ribaviron.

First off, you posted your hep C question in the hep A forum... not a good place to get an answer.

All you can do is get tested again. Have them check for a viral load instead of antibodies. That is more accurate.
