Liver Diease:

Hello;
I have recently read an answer by Kevin Pho, MD, Mar 14, 2008 07:49PM. Which stated:
" In those with liver damage, there is a delay in metabolizing the alcohol".
Well; I understand that fact, however whenever I state that to others they say: 'Where's your proof ' ?
So; Doctor Pho's statement is great. And thank-you Dr. Pho, it's much appreciated. However; with all due respects to Doctor Pho, my associates want to see some 'Clinical Papers' that state the fact that ' In those with liver damage, there is a delay in metabolizing the alcohol' together with some figures.
Can anyone suggest some 'Clinical Papers' that state this fact?
Oh; by the way, I myself have liver disease and do not touch a drop of alcohol and I try to warn others do do likewise. That is why I'm asking for some directions as to where I can find the above evidence.
Thanks in advance to all readers of this and I look forward to receiving any answers you may have.
