Poop touched near my rectum. Possible transmission?

I stayed with a friend for the night and after going to the bathroom I stood up and found poop on my leg and right by my rectum. I only urinated and I know it wasn't from me (I guess I sat in it as I saw a bit on the inside of the toilet seat).

In conversation later on my friend told me that her roommate had Hep A. I am not sure if the feces was from the roommate, but if it was and it touched close to my rectum, Is it at all possible to get it from having contact with infected feces?
